Website use
By using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and not to interfere with its security, operation or the rights of another person. The website provides general information about the practice and is not personalised counselling, diagnosis, treatment or emergency advice.
Website content may be updated without notice. Reasonable care is taken to keep it accurate, but availability, completeness and freedom from technical errors cannot be guaranteed. Links and services provided by third parties are governed by those parties' own terms.
Enquiries, bookings and service agreements
Sending an enquiry does not create a counsellor-client relationship and does not guarantee an appointment. A booking exists only when the practice has confirmed the date, time, format and applicable fee. The practice may recommend a different service or referral where a request falls outside its scope or is not suitable for the available format.
Before counselling begins, the client or responsible adult may be asked to complete a professional services agreement, informed consent and relevant intake documentation. Those documents, together with the confirmed fee and the policies published here, govern the counselling service. If there is a material inconsistency, the signed client agreement will apply to the counselling relationship to the extent permitted by law.
Online sessions and minors
Online clients are responsible for providing accurate contact and location information, a stable connection and a suitably private environment. The practice may pause or end a session where privacy, safety, identity or connection quality makes it inappropriate to continue. A backup communication method should be agreed where practical.
Counselling for a minor requires appropriate consent and may require involvement from a parent, guardian or other competent person. The nature and limits of confidentiality will be explained in an age-appropriate manner before or at the start of services.
Fees, cancellations and communication
The fee displayed or confirmed when an appointment is made applies to that appointment. Payment, cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival and no-show arrangements are set out on the Fees & Payment and Cancellation Policy pages.
Email and WhatsApp are intended mainly for enquiries and appointment administration and are not continuously monitored. They must not be used for emergency assistance or as a substitute for a scheduled counselling session.
Intellectual property and applicable law
Unless otherwise stated, the practice owns or is authorised to use the text, branding and original materials on this website. They may be viewed and printed for personal, non-commercial use, but may not be republished or commercially exploited without permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Nothing in them excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer-protection or other applicable law.
